The 2011 quarter-final Davis Cup tie between the U.S.A, and Spain was played in July at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus in Austin before an enthusiastic sell out audience. The venue was excellent. Unfortunately for the partisan U.S.A. fans, Spain was the better team that week.
The photographs in this portfolio are a cross section of the people and places I’ve photographed on assignment around the world over forty years. The great variety has contributed to the evolution of my craft as well as my education. I’ve met many new friends on the journey.

Photographing the Amish of southern Pennsylvania has been an ongoing project for many years. For most of that time I’ve driven along Rt. 30 in the Summer and Fall and photographed the Amish in many of their activities. In keeping with their custom, I’ve tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. I hope this project will continue far into the future.
