The 112th U.S. Open was conducted by the U.S.G.A. on the Lake Course at The Olympic Club in San Francisco 14-17 June. The tournament was won by Webb Simpson at +1 over par. The true winner may well have been The Olympic Club and the course set-up by the U.S.G.A. The weather was cool and a bit foggy – especially on the weekend. It’s a terrific course and somewhat difficult to walk, much less while hitting golfballs…!
I’ve photographed just about all varieties of sport – professional, collegiate, Olympic, and amateur. Golf, tennis, football, basketball, baseball, horses, motor racing, winter sports – skiing, snowboarding, skating, ice hockey – swimming, diving, wrestling, boxing, sailing, rowing, etc., etc. etc. There is no end to the variety. Photographs have been used editorially, on line, for networks – CBS Sports, NBC Sports, ABC Sports, Fox Sports, etc.- books, advertising, corporate reports and brochures.
